Stellenbosch FC have completed the signing of attacker Lesiba Nku from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 28-year-old arrives at the club on a permanent basis after his departure from the Brazilians.

The Limpopo-born winger managed to rack up five goals and grabbed one assist in 28 games across all competitions during his time at Sundowns.

Stellies has confirmed that Nku will wear the No. 7 jersey previously worn by former captain Deano van Rooyen.

Nku will be available to make his debut for the club when they take on Sekhukhune United in the Betway Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

“Lesiba is a player we have admired for some time, and we are excited to bring him to Stellenbosch FC.” CEO Rob Benadie said.

“His arrival underpins our commitment to strengthening the team with players of the highest calibre and I have no doubt that his quality will add a new dimension to our attacking options.”

Stellenbosch FC against Sekhukhune United kicks off at 15:30pm on Saturday.
