Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Marcelo Allende says he is happy at the club and admires the winning spirit that is instilled in the players.
The 23-year-old has already played 28 matches for Sundowns across all competitions while scoring four goals and assisting a further one in the process.
The Chilean international also played a crucial role in helping Sundown secure their progression to the Caf Champions League quarter-finals during their 2-1 victory over Coton Sport in their final Group B clash this past weekend.
Allende admits that he enjoys travelling and playing at different stadiums during Sundowns’ busy fixture schedule but really admires the club’s drive and motivation to win every match.
“Every Champions League game is difficult, but at Sundowns, all games are important, and we go into every game to win,” Allende told his club’s official website.
“I am happy to be at Sundowns because Mamelodi Sundowns is not only a big team, but the winning spirit is admirable because we want to win all matches and competitions.”
