Jeremy Brockie of Mamelodi Sundowns

New Zealand international Jeremy Brockie has spoken about his worldie goal for Mamelodi Sundowns in their Caf Champions League opener.

The Brazilians managed to claim a 2-0 victory against Leones Vegetarianos in their preliminary round of the competition.

Brockie, who scored the first of Sundowns goals before Themba Zwane put the game to bed in the 77th minute, wished the game was televised for people to see his world-class goal.

‘So it ended up out on the left, Mosa [Lebusa] swung a nice ball in and it hung nicely in the sky, first time left foot volley in the far corner. (It’s) one of those goals where you wished it was on TV, but I’m sure the video analyst would have caught it for me,’ Brockie said on Sundowns’ official Twitter account.

‘It was tough conditions, it was hot and humid, but the boys put in a professional performance, got the job done and now we just have to make sure that we finish it off at home.’
