New Mamelodi Sundowns signing Andile Jali looks set to make his debut in the Caf Champions League on Tuesday against AS Togo-Port.
Jali jetted out to Togo on Thursday evening with the rest of the Sundowns squad after it was confirmed by Pitso Mosimane that he had been registered for the competition.
Percy Tau, however, was a notable absentee, as he looks to seal a move to Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League.

While the former Orlando Pirates man, who lost in the Champions League final with Pirates, is available, the club’s other new signings Toni Silva and Jose Ali Meza are yet to be registered due to their foreigner status.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Downs coach Mosimane said, ‘Yes, he [Jali] is available, we have registered him.
‘When it’s a local player it’s easier than Ali Meza and Toni Silva. You have to wait for the work permit. Even sometimes the league can start without getting a work permit. That’s the life when you sign foreigners,’ he added.

On how Jali has settled at Chloorkop, Mosimane said ‘He is an important player. He has adjusted well. I like to see that his aggression is still there.
‘The passing is there, [but] he is still adjusting to the way we play because we like football that’s easy on the eye. We’ve got to get him to the way we play. But he’ll get there, he’s an experienced player.’
