Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has bemoaned his side’s lack of composure in the final third during their Caf Champions League clash with Green Eagles on Saturday.
The Buccaneers suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat by the Eagles in the preliminary round of the competition at Nkoloma Stadium over the weekend.
The Sea Robbers will be hoping to overturn their deficit when they welcome the Zambian outfit to the Orlando Stadium on the weekend of 23-25 August.
Speaking on their defeat, Jele stressed his disappointment at the result and their inability to find the back of the net.
‘I am very disappointed with the result,’ Jele told the media.
‘We played very well, but we did not put the ball in the net.’
Orlando Pirates will now refocus on the Absa Premiership when they take on SuperSport United at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday, with kick-off set for 7:30pm.
