After a short break from football, Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana has revealed that it’s back to business for the Brazilians as they prepare to face AS Togo-Port in the Caf Champions League.
The Brazilians jet out to Togo on Thursday and will have a few days to prepare before their clash against AS Togo-Port in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Sundowns drew their opening two matches against Wydad Casablanca and Horoya, so they will be hungry for three points.

Speaking about the break Kekana said ‘We had a break. It was good for us to be away from football a little bit. We are back now.
‘It’s back to business. We want [to] try and start with a good run by winning the match in Togo so that we are in a good space in the group. A win will give us five points and we will be second in the group,’ he added.

Pitso Mosimane’s charges are competing in the group stage of Africa’s premium cup competition for a third time in a row, after famously going on to win the competition in 2016.
The midfielder highlighted the importance of reaching the high standards which they have set in the competition.

‘Doing well in the Champions League is non-negotiable. We know that we are carrying a lot of responsibility as players [we] try and do well and put the club where it needs to be.
‘We have shown in the past that we are capable of winning trophies. We have to maintain that and make sure that we continue doing well for the club,’ he concluded.
