The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced key dates for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup for the 2024–25 season.
South Africa will be represented by three teams in the competition, including Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC.
Mamelodi Sundowns secured their passage to the CAF Champions League after they won the DStv Premiership for a record seventh time in a row.
The Buccaneers booked their place in the CAF Champions League after they finished the 2023–24 campaign in second place on the DStv Premiership table.
The Maroons is the only team representing South Africa in the CAF Confederation Cup after they booked their spot by finishing the DStv Premiership season in third place.

Group Stage: October- December 2024
Knockout Phase: March-May 2025:
Final: May 2025
