Mamelodi Sundowns forward Anthony Laffor revealed that the team is treating their remaining Caf Champions League fixtures as finals after a poor start to the group stages.
Downs currently sit bottom of Group C after an opening 1-1 draw against Wydad Athletic Club was followed up by another draw against Horoya Athlétique Club and last week’s 1-0 loss to AS Togo-Port.

The Brazilians know they need three points on Friday against Togo-Port to keep their hopes of qualifying from the group stages alive.
When asked how they are going to get themselves out of this situation at the pre-match press-conference, Laffor revealed that they are treating their remaining three games as finals.
‘It’s difficult, every game is like a cup final.
‘We need to win our two games before going to Morocco [to face Wydad] because we put ourselves in this situation. So, the only thing we need to do is win our two home games, which we can do.
‘It starts on Friday, we have to cross that bridge first and if we can cross that bridge, then we will see how we can face the team from Guinea.’
Sundowns will do battle against AS Togo-Port on Friday in the Caf Champions League, with kickoff scheduled for 6pm.
