Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena says his side have already begun their preparations for their upcoming DStv Premiership clash against Swallows FC on Sunday afternoon.
The Brazilians extended their unbeaten run in the league to 18 matches following their goalless draw against Cape Town City at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Sundowns will now be looking to return to winning ways when they come up against Soweto outfit Swallows FC at the Dobsonville Stadium this weekend.
Mokwena admits that facing Coton Sport in the Caf Champions League and taking on an in-form Cape Town City side in the league was really tough but he was pleased with his side’s performance against both teams.
“[It was] A tough game, very difficult game against a good opponent with very good players on the pitch, but a good game of football. I like the performance a lot better than the performances of Coton Sport and Al Hilal also,” Mowkena told his club’s official website.
“Today I liked the performances, just the differences – in Sudan [was that] we scored, the last match we scored two and today we just couldn’t score, but I liked the performance today.
“It’s football you know you can’t win them all, we go again and prepare for Swallows and try to win the next one.”
The clash at Dobsonville Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
