Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes his side’s form at home in the Caf Champions League will mean that no one will want to get the Brazilians in Wednesday’s draw.
The Brazilians sealed top spot in Group C after Saturday’s 1-0 win over Wydad Casablanca and will now face either Egyptian duo Zamalek and Al Ahly or Moroccan giants Rajah Casablanca in the quarter-finals after the group stage wrapped up over the weekend.
With the quarter-final draw set to take place on Wednesday, Sundowns will learn who their opponents are in the last eight of the competition.
Speaking after his side’s win over Wydad, Mosimane admitted that he is confident that they can use their home leg, which will be played second because they topped their group, to seal a spot in the final four.

‘We either going to play Zamalek, or we are going to play Rajah [Casablanca] or somebody, it’s on the edge there,’ Mosimane told the media.
‘The exciting group is Al Ahly, Hilaal and Etoile, oh, what a group,’ he added.
‘You are going to get one of those; if you go away and you don’t lose then you sort it out here [at home]. If you score away, then it is much better, but here you know the story, it is very difficult for anybody to come and walk here. As much as we respect TP Mazembe and Esperance de Tunis, as much as we say going to Tunis is not easy, but can someone say that they want to go to Pretoria? You should be very brave because sometimes you don’t find the ball here,’ he concluded.
