Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes his side have prepared well for their upcoming Caf Champions League finals against Zamalek on Saturday.
The Brazilians will now welcome the White Knight to the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the first leg of the African finals.
The 52-year-old believes his side have put a lot of effort and time to prepare the squad for their upcoming finals on Saturday.
‘We spent time and resources preparing for this,’ Mosimane told the Mamelodi Sundowns website.
‘The Champions League is big history. It is legacy, and this is what inspires me.’
Mosimane continued to say that all competitions are important but he believes that you cannot compare the domestic cup competitions with the Champions League.
‘We have been playing for nine months. We have prepared on training pitches where the grass is knee high. We have spent six to eight hours in transit.
‘The referees are different. In domestic competition, we know the referees and their style. Comparing the Champions League with the domestic cups – not that they are not important – is like chalk and cheese,’ he added.
Kick-off has been set for 15:00.
