Pitso Mosimane announces squad for Caf CL showdown

Pitso Mosimane has announced his 28-man Al Ahly squad ahead of the highly anticipated Caf Champions League final against Morocco’s Wydad CA at the Stade Mohamed V on Monday evening.

The Red Eagles made their way to the final by claiming a commanding 6-2 aggregate victory over Algerian outfit ES Setif over their two-legged semi-final.

Meanwhile, Wydad Casablanca booked their place in Morocco after they managed to secure a 4-1 aggregate win over Angola’s Petro de Luanda in their semi-final.

Al Ahly and Wydad Casablanca are now scheduled to meet in the Champions League final set to take place at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca on Monday evening, with kick-off set for 9pm.
