Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane will probably field the same squad against Cote d’Or as in the Caf Champions League first leg.
The Brazilians beat Cote d’Or 5-0 in the first leg of their second-round qualification match on Saturday, 14 September.
A brace from Tiyani Mabunda and goals from Lyle Lakay, Siphelele Mkhulise and Wayne Arendse gives Sundowns a healthy five-goal advantage heading into the return leg at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday.
Mosimane admits that he will field a strong squad against the side from Seychelles, despite scoring five away goals in the first leg at the Stade Linite.
‘I’m not sure what I’ll do because we need the confidence, I need the team to score goals,’ Mosimane told the media.
‘You can see that we are not really the team that we know. I need my principles [to be adhered to]. So, probably I will play the same team [from the first leg] and let them score goals.’
Mamelodi Sundowns will now focus on the Caf Champions League first-round second-leg clash with Seychelles outfit Cote d’Or on Friday, with kick-off set for 7pm.
