Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane is expecting an open game against Al Hilal as both sides look to qualify for the knockout stages of the Caf Champions League.
The Red Eagles are set to welcome Al Hilal to the Cairo International Stadium for their final Group A encounter on Sunday evening.
Ahly will come into this encounter sitting second in Group A with seven points, while Al Hilal occupies third place – level on four points with the bottom of the table Al-Merrihk.
Mosimane has stressed the importance of their final game as it is the last chance for them to continue their journey in the competition as they look to defend their title.
“We must make sure that we win tomorrow. It will not be easy. We want to win and Al Hilal want to win.” Mosimane told his club’s official website in a pre-game press conference.
“I expect an open game because Al Hilal need to win if they want to qualify to the next round. It will be a tough game.”
Al Ahly against Al-Merrihk is scheduled to face off at 10pm on Sunday evening.
