Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic is confident the Buccaneers will overcome African Stars in their Caf Champions League second leg to book their place in the group stages of the continental tournament.
The Buccaneers were held to a goalless draw by the Namibian champions in their first-leg match on Saturday.
However, Sredojevic believes his side have the quality to beat Stars in Windhoek, although he expects a tough encounter on their artificial grass.
‘Now we have to go back to the drawing board, we have one week to prepare properly. It won’t be easy in Windhoek with the artificial grass, but we believe in what we are doing,’ Sredojevic told SuperSport TV after the game.
‘We believe in the players that we have and we believe we are on the road to getting the results in Windhoek, and qualifying for the group stages of the [Caf] Champions League.’
Orlando Pirates will travel to Sam Nujoma Stadium on 22 December when they take on African Stars in the second leg of their Caf Champions League first round.
