Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic is confident his side can overcome African Stars in the return leg of their Caf Champions League encounter on Saturday.
The Buccaneers were forced to endure a goalless draw in the first leg at the Orlando Stadium last weekend.
However, Sredojevic believes his side can beat Stars in Windhoek, Namibia, to advance to the Champions League group stages.
‘I would not stand in front of you if I don’t believe in the players,’ Sredojevic told the media.
‘We are having to work, all of us as a technical team, we are doing it with them. I have absolute confidence and belief and trust in our players in what we are doing.’
The Pirates mentor added that he would like to see his side improve their scoring ability, which they lacked in their previous game in Soweto.
‘We are looking to win the match or goals draw. It is something we are targeting. We believe in what we are doing and we believe in the players we have.
‘We believe that we can pull up the socks and pull up the sleeves, work hard enough and conclude by getting good results that will help us go in the group stages of the Champions League.
‘We need to prepare much better and are looking forward to playing a much better attacking game in Windhoek,’ he concluded.
Orlando Pirates against African Stars kicks off at 4pm.
