Unsurprisingly, among the eight clubs that participated, five Mamelodi Sundowns players comprised the lineup.
These players played a pivotal role in their club’s remarkable run to a second CAF Women’s Champions League championship.
The Best Xl also comprises players from Ampem Darkoa, the tournament’s debutants, SC Casablanca, which finished in second place, and AS Far, which won bronze.
