Mamelodi Sundowns were drawn against Wydad Athletic Club in a competitive group when the draw for the group stages of the Caf Champions League concluded on Wednesday evening.

The 2016 Champions will go up against 2017 Champions Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco), Horoya A.C. (Guinea) and AS Togo Port de Lome (Togo) in the group stages.

The Brazilians qualified for the group stages after a 2-0 victory over Rayon Sports in Pretoria.

The group stages will be played between 4-6 May.
