Mamelodi Sundowns find themselves top of Group C after their 5-0 thumping of Petro de Luanda 3-0 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium over the weekend.

Goals from Mauricio Affonso, Motjeka Madisha and Sphelele Mkhulise placed Pitso Mosimane’s side at the top of Group C with three points ahead of USM Alger and Wydad Casablanca, who drew 1-1 in Blida earlier in the day.

The Brazilians will return to Caf Champions League action next Saturday when they take on rivals Wydad Casablanca, while Petro are at home to USM Alger.
