Mamelodi Sundowns duo Percy Tau and Denis Onyango were named in the Caf Champions League Team of the Year for 2017.
Tau and Onyango have been performing exceptionally for the Brazilians, and the efforts were recognised by the African football’s administrative body.
The 23-year-old striker has featured 10 times for Pitso Mosimane’s side in the Champions League, while claiming one assist in the process.
Meanwhile, Onyango produced three clean sheets from six matches in the African competition, before they were eliminated from the competition by Wydad Casablanca in the quarter-finals.
The Sundowns duo were also shortlisted for the Caf Player of the Year award for players based in Africa,
