Despite taking a 3-0 lead into the return leg of their Caf Confederation Cup playoff match against Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana, Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer hopes to have some of his star players back.
The Buccaneers are on the verge of qualifying for the continental competition’s group stages after this past weekend’s 3-0 win, which came without the likes of Thembinkosi Lorch, Ntsikelelo Nyauza and Gabadinho Mhango. Now the German coach would like to have them back for next weekend’s return-leg match.

‘We have to see now what’s happened. We have injured player[s] there. You see the weather was very hot today, both teams struggling a little bit in the conditioning but our team was very good. We need the recovery days; we had a lot of games in the past time and the recovery is important and then we start and then we have to see what happens with the next game and what players are available,’ the coach told the media.
‘I hope that Lorch and other players come back and then we can improve the next game. We need a good game, the opponent is good, and we have full concentration for next Saturday,’ he said.
