SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholoyane has encouraged his teammates to secure a victory in their final Caf Confederation Cup group encounter against CF Mounana.

Matsatsantsa host Mounana in a must-win encounter at the Lucas Moripe Stadium at 15:30 and the former Kaiser Chiefs man is pleased with his side’s progress in the competition thus far.

‘It feels good to be in the situation we are in now as a team,’ he told KickOff.

‘It says a lot about the players and the support that we get from the whole team.

‘We said at the start of last season that we want to compete for every trophy that is available and we’ve done that.

‘We will continue working hard to get as far as possible in every tournament that we compete in.

‘It feels good to be in the situation we are in now as a team. It says a lot about the players and the support that we get from the whole team,’ said ‘Yeye’.

 

Letsholoyane could reach 300th starts in all competitions since debuting for Jomo Cosmos in August 2006 if he is named in the line-up to face Mounana.

SuperSport currently occupy third spot in the Group D table and will require a win, coupled with either TP Mazembe or Horoya also winning in Lubumbashi.

,We know what is expected of us and what [result] can make us qualify or not.

‘We know this one we have to win, and whatever happens on the other side of the continent [between Mazembe and Horoya] is out of our control,’ he concluded.
