AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin says his side “will give it their all” in the hopes of reaching the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals ahead of their clash against Kaizer Chiefs.

Usuthu have been drawn against the Soweto giants, who are the most successful club in this competition with 13 titles.

However, the dates, kick-off times and venues for the last 16 fixtures are yet to be announced by the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Martin knows Chiefs will be tough opponents but insists his side will fight to claim their place in the next round of the competitions.

“Tough opponent to play against, same as anyone in pot A,” Franco told his club’s official website.

“But I am sure they think the same about us and they did not like the draw. The most challenging thing will be to play away [to Chiefs] in a knockout competition.

“But the good thing is that AmaZulu have already proved that we can be competitive and beat any team so we will give it our all to reach the quarter-finals.”
