TS Galaxy secured their place in the Carling Cup quarter-finals after claiming a 5-4 win against Mamelodi Sundowns in a penalty shootout at the Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Rockets opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Sphiwe Mahlangu who found the net after Bongani Zungu failed to clear the ball at the post before the ball rolled past Reyaad Pieterse.
