AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin is looking forward to the possibility of facing Golden Arrows with the hope of advancing to the semi-final of the Carling Knockout Cup.

Usuthu will play hosts to Arrows in the quarter-final when the two sides do battle at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The Durban-based outfit will come into this fixture off the back of a 1-1 draw against Chippa United in the DStv Premiership

Arrows are confident after claiming a 2-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs in their previous match in the DStv Premiership.

Martin believes they have a good opportunity to defeat Arrows and book their place in the next round of the competition.

“Arrows are doing well but we are also playing well and we are happy to play in the quarter-finals,” Martin told his club’s official website.

“It’s an opportunity for us to go to the next round and an opportunity to win the trophy for the team for the first time in a very long time and we will do our best.

“We are missing some injured players but all the players know that it is difficult to win trophies. We know it’s been a long time since we’ve beaten the Arrows and what a debut game means, not only to them but to the team and the fans.”
