AmaZulu coach Pablo Franco Martin says his side have been working hard to improve their form in front of goal ahead of their Carling Knockout Cup clash against Golden Arrows.
Usuthu are set to welcome Abafana Bes’thende to the Moses Mabhida Stadium when the two sides meet in the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final on Saturday.
The Durban-based outfit will come into this fixture off the back of a 1-1 draw against Chippa United in the DStv Premiership, while Arrows claimed a 2-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs in their previous match.
Martin admits that his side have recently struggled in the final third but insists his side will overcome their limitations through hard work.
“We are finding it hard to convert but the whole thing is we are competitive,” Franco Martin told his club’s official website.
“We are having chances, we are getting points and we are improving, which is the most important thing.
“We’re in that process and hopefully, our [upfront] players are going to improve and they are going to score the chances they are having.”
