Orlando Pirates’ starting XI for their Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Champion Cup has been announced.

Siyabonga Mpontshane starts between the sticks for the Buccaneers, while Thabo Matlaba, Happy  Jele, Ayanda Gcaba and Patrick Phungwayo make up the Pirates defence.

Oupa Manyisa and Issa Sarr have been named in the centre of the midfield, playing alongside Luvuyo Memela and Mpho Makola, who are expected to start on the left and right wing respectively.

Meanwhile, Thamsanqa Gabuza and Tendai Ndoro will forge a partnership on attack for the Sea Robbers.

Orlando Pirates will go head-to-head against rivals Kaizer Chiefs in a mouth-watering fixture between the two sides at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off has been scheduled for 15:00.
