TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic says his side are shifting their focus back to the DStv Premiership after missing out on clinching the Carling Knockout Cup trophy.

The Rockets suffered 5-4 defeat on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Saturday’s final against Stellenbosch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Ramovic has since praised his side’s display in the final but insists they are shifting their focus back to the league as they look to finish in the top eight.

“I think that we showed that we are fantastic team. I think that my players also showed that they deserve to get more attention, not only the three big clubs. And I believe that many of you will still be surprised,” Ramovic told reporters after the defeat.

“We will try again. But this is the desert, because our main course should be the league. And this is where we have to do everything we can to reach our goal to be in a top eight spot.

“It’s not easy because you have fantastic teams in our league.”
