Kaizer Chiefs winger Tebogo Potsane is relishing the chance to participate in the Cufa Cup, which takes place from 7 to 15 October in Bloemfontein.
The Soweto giants are set to participate in a friendly match against Marumo Gallants following the FIFA international break.
The match is part of the large Cultural Urban Festival Africa, which began this morning at Naval Hill in the City of Roses and will run from October 3 to October 13, with music, arts, and cultural events scheduled in Mangaung.
Potsane is excited to continue his football during the international break as their will be a 20-day break from competitive football.
“As someone from Bloemfontein, I am honoured to be back home to attend the launch of Cufa Cup,” Potsane told his club’s official website.
“We are really looking forward to coming back to Bloemfontein for a third time in 10 weeks.
“We played in front of capacity crowds against Young Africans on 28 July in the Toyota Cup and faced Marumo Gallants in the Betway Premiership on 14 September, and supporters did not disappoint again when they filled up the Toyota stadium once more.
“We know people of Mangaung love football, and we look forward to another sold-out crowd when we return on 13 October,” he concluded.
