Leicester City will take on Chelsea at King Power Stadium, while Manchester City play Swansea City in the third round of the EFL Cup.
One of several Premier League teams competing in Europe have entered the EFL Cup at this stage, the Foxes were drawn against Antonio Conte’s men on Wednesday, reports the Leicester City website.
The third round tie will take place in the week commencing on September 19, in between the Foxes Premier League clashes with Burnley and Manchester United respectively.
While Claudio Ranieri’s men begin their EFL Cup campaign at the third round stage, Chelsea defeated Bristol Rovers 3-2 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday in the second round after Michy Batshuayi scored a brace and Victor Moses’ strike.
