The Premier League continues to thrill fans around the world and week 27 is unlikely to be any different, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

Seven things to expect from this weekend’s Premier League action:

1) Bournemouth and West Ham to shoot blanks

Bournemouth host West Ham this weekend at Dean Court. The Cherries come into the game off a massive confidence-boosting draw at Old Trafford, while West Ham were defeated 2-1 by Chelsea last time out. Eddie Howe’s team will be desperate to gain points in order to stay clear from the relegation scrap at the bottom of the table. Expect a tight encounter that will likely end in a draw.

2) Everton to get back to winning ways

Last weekend, when Everton came up against Tottenham Hotspurs they were outplayed and lost 3-2, while West Brom suffered a surprise 2-0 home loss against Crystal Palace. Ronald Koeman will be desperate to see his team bounce back in their clash this weekend at Goodison Park. Expect the Toffees to come out firing and claim the three points.

3) Lukaku to continue scoring run

Romelu Lukaku has scored six goals in his last four league appearances for Everton and looks to be hitting the type of form which could see him rise to the top of the scoring charts. He has scored 18 league goals this season and only trails Harry Kane, who plays in the FA cup this weekend, by one goal. Expect the Belgian international to hit the back of the net and rise to the top of the charts.

4) Hull to win relegation clash

Both Hull City and this weekend opponents Swansea City appointed new managers to turn around their season and while they both have done so, Swansea’s Paul Clement has managed to greater effect. Clement has pulled the Swans out of the relegation zone, while despite some good results, Marcos Silva’s Hull team are still in the thick of a relegation battle. Expect Hull to put in a big performance and grab the three points in this must-win clash at the KCOM stadium.

5) Liverpool to thrash Burnley

Liverpool hosts a Burnley team this weekend that have struggled away from home all season. With the rest of the top teams in FA Cup action this weekend, Liverpool will be desperate to claim all three points and pile the pressure on the teams around them. Expect the Reds to entertain the Anfield crowd and come away with the points.

6) Mane to be Liverpool’s top man again

Sadio Mane has been a standout performer all season for Jurgen Klopp’s team. The Senegalese international has been a constant threat with his pace and skill being too much to handle for opposition teams. Expect Mane to shine yet again for the Reds this weekend.

7) Mouthwatering FA Cup clash between Man United and Chelsea

Okay, so it is not a Premier League clash, but Monday night’s FA Cup quarterfinal encounter between Manchester United and Chelsea is simply too big to ignore. Antonio Conte’s men undoubtedly come into the game as favorites, they are playing at home and have not had any midweek European action. Jose Mourinho’s team, on the other hand, had to travel to Russia on Thursday night for their Europa League clash against Rostov and have their main man Zlatan Ibrahimović serving a three-game suspension. Although the Blues are expected to win, anything is possible when these two teams meet.
