Barcelona are ready to give up on Hector Bellerin to turned their focused on trying to sign Valencia right back Joao Cancelo.

Arsenal are standing firm on keeping a hold of Bellerin with Luis Enrique’s side now opting to side Cancelo as an alternative.

The Spanish right back, who started his career at Barca before joining the Gunners has been heavily linked with a return to the Camp Nou as a long-term replacement for the departed Dani Alves.

However, Bellerin has also caught the interest of Manchester City but the Gunners are reluctant to sell the 21-year-old.

When the Premier League returns, Arsenal will take on Swansea City on October 15.
