Chelsea secured a third consecutive victory following their 3-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Blues advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League on Tuesday with a comeback victory over Borussia Dortmund, following a much-needed three points against Leeds the previous weekend.
Ben Chilwell gave them an early lead against his former club, but Patson Daka equalized with a magnificent 25-yard effort that sailed into the bottom corner.
Kai Havertz lobbed goalkeeper Danny Ward to put Chelsea ahead again in first-half stoppage time, and Mateo Kovacic sealed the victory with a volley as Leicester suffered a fourth consecutive loss, with center-back Wout Faes being sent off late on.
