Chelsea have continued their spending spree after completing the signing of Noni Madueke from PSV Eindhoven.

The blues have already spent over £400 million ($494 million) in bolstering their squad for the current season following numerous injuries within the first team.

The English winger Madueke has signed a seven-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge after completing a deal worth a reported £35 million.

“I’m really pleased to sign with one of the best clubs in the world in Chelsea,” said Madueke, who was previously a youth prospect at Crystal Palace and Tottenham.

“To return to England and play in the Premier League is a dream for me and my family and I can’t wait to get started.

“I am excited for what the future holds, the owner’s vision for the future and to be at a club like this and winning at the highest level.”

Since joining PSV in 2018, Madueke has scored 20 goals in 80 games for the Dutch giants.

But the 20-year-old has to beat out a lot of other players to make the Blues’ first team.

Mykhailo Mudryk, a player for Ukraine, could make his debut against Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield. He just moved from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal that could be worth up to 108 million euros ($100 million).

Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, and Joao Felix are all other options for Graham Potter to play on the wing.
