Chelsea are set to go head-to-head with Manchester United in trying to lure Benfica defender Victor Lindelof to the Premier League in the summer, according to reports.
Antonio Conte has reportedly made the highly-rated 22-year-old defender his number on transfer target for the summer.
However, United have already signalled their interest in the defender with reports suggesting they are willing to pay up to £38-milliom to lure the defender to Old Trafford.
Over the course of his career, Lindelof has netted four goals and assisted a further five from 188 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Vasteras SK FK and Benfica.
On an international level, the defender has scored one goal from 11 appearances in all competitions since making his debut for the Sweden national team in March 2016 under the guidance of Erik Hamren.
The defender has already won the Division 1 Norra in 2010 with Vasteras, while winning two Primeira Liga titles, a Taca da Liga trophy and the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira in 2016 with Benfica.
