Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says he expects an open and entertaining match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday.
The Blues will be hoping to redeem themselves against the Reds after suffering a 2-1 defeat during the first half of the season and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to 10 points.
Conte believes their clash at Anfield will be an open match with both sides eager to prevail over the other but he insists that a win over the host will give the Blues a confidence boost for the next match against Arsenal.
‘I want my team to try every game to fight to win and also to make the best decisions to adapt for the game,’ Conte told the Chelsea website.
‘Tomorrow I think Liverpool and Chelsea both want to win the game and we could see an open game, not a tactical game.
‘The difficulty is high when you face this type of opponent but these type of games are always important to win because when you face teams with the same level, it is important for the confidence and to take three points from a rival.’
Chelsea will now travel to Anfield when they take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Tuesday.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 22:00.
