Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Diogo Dalot, Fred and Luke Shaw have joined Marcus Rashford in extending their contracts with the club.
Dalot, Fred, and Shaw’s contracts were all set to expire in June 2023, but they have been handed an option of an extra 12 months.
The deals has been made to exercise those respective additions, meaning that they are now all under contract until at least the summer of 2024.
“Yes, I can confirm it,” he told Zarah Connolly, in an interview you can watch in full on ManUtd.com, MUTV and the United App on matchday morning.
“We are happy because the squad is going in the right direction and those players [have] a massive contribution in that direction.
“We want to develop, we want to support those players and we want them to keep in our process.
“So, that’s why we came to those decisions, I’m sure they are the right decisions.
“We want to construct a team for the future, so for longer years, and those players have to be part of it.”
