Jeremy Doku scored and grabbed four assists as Manchester City cruised to a 6-1 thrashing of Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
The Belgian winger gave the champions the lead with a spectacular curled finish from the edge of the box. He then set up goals for Manuel Akanji and Bernardo Silva, scoring three goals in the first seven minutes of the half.
When Erling Haaland was hobbling down the tunnel as the whistle blew at halftime, Doku came to the rescue. However, Phil Foden, who replaced him, finished shortly after the break and was the recipient of another Doku assist.
In a consolation goal, Luis Sinisterra gave Bournemouth their first goal, making the score 4-1. However, Bernardo soon added a fifth goal, running through and chipping Radu after another Doku pass, and Nathan Ake, a former Cherries defender, also scored late in the game.
