South African striker Lyle Foster says he was grateful to have made his Premier League debut for Burnley against defending champions Manchester City.
The 22-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Burnley suffered a 3-0 defeat to Man City after Erling Haaland bagged a brace and Rodri goal his name on the score sheet at Turf Moor.
Foster put in an impressive through the game and caused the Man City defence many problems during their opening match of the 2023/24 season.
“Grateful for my debut in the Premier League. We still have a lot to give, it’s only the start,” Foster wrote on Instagram.
