Eden Hazard scored twice as Chelsea returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory against West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

Seeking to avoid a third successive Premier League defeat, the Blues survived a nervy start when Salomon Rondon headed Matty Phillips’ cross wide and Jay Rodriguez sent a glorious chance wide with more time to make sure.

Ben Foster saved brilliantly from Davide Zappacosta and Olivier Giroud before Hazard struck on 25 minutes, with a turn, dribble and one-two with the Frenchman.

Thibaut Courtois thwarted Rondon on 57 minutes and Jonny Evans headed the ensuing corner narrowly over.

But the Blues took control when Moses started and finished a move with Cesc Fabregas on 63 minutes.

Hazard crowned a fine display by cutting in from the right to score his 11th PL goal of the campaign.

Chelsea move a point above Tottenham Hotspur into fourth place. West Brom remain bottom on 20 points, seven from safety.
