Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard says he is relishing the chance to lift the Premier League title for the second time in three years.

The Belgian international scored his 15th Premier League goal 15 of the season, the most he has recorded in a single campaign for the Blues, and has netted on average every 174 minutes this term.

The 26-year-old says that the number of goals he scores is insignificant, and says that his main focus is to help the team succeed in their bid to lift the Premier League title for the second time in three years.

‘I don’t care about the number of goals I get. Statistics aren’t important for me,’ Hazard told the Chelsea website.

‘If my goals help my team win games, that’s important. I just want to take the trophy at the end of the season. If I can score a few more goals this season, that would be good.

‘I am happy with what I am doing on the pitch, with my movement and everything. I said a few weeks ago there are many similarities with what I did two years ago in the title-winning year.’

Hazard will be hoping his side can continue their winning form when they take on Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

‘They are playing very well, they are a great team, and they have the top scorer in the league,’ he added.

‘We will see how the game goes. We will have a good rest before then and hope to continue to advance towards the end as the leaders.’

The Blues currently sits at the top of the Premier League table with 78 points and have won 25 of their 33 matches played so far this season.

Chelsea will now turn their focus to Everton when the two sides meet at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday.

Kick-off has been set for 15:05.
