Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has called striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic a ‘genius’, the Swede voicing his impression of the squad. 

The former PSG forward has netted 26 goals in 41 appearances, to go with eight assists since becoming a Red Devil in July last year.

‘He is a genius. He can say that he will score 30 goals, and that he is the best because he can get away with it. He is so good that he can do that,’ Herrera told Spanish publication Marca.

‘Ibrahimovic can be very annoying, because he wants to win it all, even at football-tennis.’

The Swede is currently serving a three-match suspension for violent conduct for the elbow he threw at Tyrone Mings in the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Bournemouth. That suspension brought to an end a run of seven goals in seven games.
