Nicolas Jackson scored a late winner as Chelsea came back to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at City Ground in the Premier League.
After a deft pass from Cole Palmer in the eighth minute, Mykhailo Mudryk swept home to give Chelsea the lead through their opening assault.
However, in the 74th minute, former Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi gave Forest the lead with a beautiful goal from 15 yards after Willy Boly had levelled the score.
After a thrilling match, Nicolas Jackson scored the game’s winning goal in the 82nd minute, with Raheem Sterling making the score 2-2.
Following Luton’s loss to West Ham earlier on Saturday, Forest needed just one point to guarantee a Premier League season for the third time in a row.
With one more game remaining, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team leads 18th-place Luton by three points with 29 points from 37 games.
But Forest also have a better goal differential; Luton needs a 12-goal swing to stay in the game.
On the last day, May 19, the Reds play demoted Burnley while Luton hosts Fulham.
