Harry Kane has been added in Tottenham Hotspur’s squad for their pre-season Asia-Pacific tour but club captain Hugo Lloris has been left out.

England captain Kane is in the last year of his contract with north London club Spurs. However, German giants Bayern Munich are said to be interested in him, even though their initial £60 million ($76 million) bid for the forward was turned down by Tottenham.

Kane and other international players went back to preseason training on Wednesday. New Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou was going to talk to the club’s top scorer about what he wants to do with the team.

On Friday, Spurs said that veteran custodian Lloris had been given permission to stay home “to look into possible transfer options.”

The 36-year-old former French number one has been linked to Inter Milan if Andre Onana moves to Manchester United.

Lloris joined Tottenham in 2012 and has played 447 times for the club. He also helped France win the 2018 World Cup.

Tottenham will fly to Perth, Western Australia, with their team, which will include James Maddison, who they just bought for £40 million from Leicester. On July 18, they will play a friendly against London rivals West Ham, who are also in the Premier League.

On July 23, Spurs will play Leicester in Thailand, and on July 26, they will play the Lion City Sailors of Singapore.
