Manchester United have employed 50 new scouts as they look to fend off competition to sign the world’s best top young talent.

The Red Devils have now hired new scouts in every continent as they look to sign the young starlets before every other club.

United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward sanctioned the move after the review showed a need to expand to have more scouts around the globe, according to the Mail.

Meanwhile,United’s scout Marcel Bout has been promoted and has now become the club’s head of global scouting and will work with chief scout Jim Lawlor in trying to lure new talent to the club.
