Chelsea winger Victor Moses says the Blues are focused on picking up as many points as possible in an attempt to secure the Premier League title this season.
The Blues recently claimed a 3-1 victory over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge through goals by Cesc Fabregas, Pedro Rodriguez, Diego Costa.
Antonio Conte’s side now holds a 10-point lead over second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, while Manchester City are in third with a further point behind having played a game less.
The Nigerian international says his side showed a real fighting spirit to score two second half goals and collect all three points against a determined Swans side.
‘I thought we did well and showed great character. Swansea did well in the way they tried to sit back and frustrate us but we kept on playing and as soon as we got the second goal we started to enjoy it,’ Moses told the Chelsea website.
‘We’re not looking at the table at the moment, we still have 12 matches to play and we just need to take each game as it comes. We just want to stay grounded and win as many games as we can between now and the end of the season.
‘We’re going to stay focused and keep working hard together as a team, as everyone can see we’re doing.’
The 26-year-old says he is enjoying life as a full-time Chelsea player after spending a number of seasons out on loan, while also insisting that the Blues are currently in the best form they have been all season.
‘I’ve always wanted to play for this big club, it’s one of the best clubs in the world at the moment and I’m enjoying every single minute. I just want to keep on working hard and helping my team-mates out.’
Chelsea will next take on West United in a Lond derby in the Premier League on Monday.
The match at the London Stadium kicks off at 22:00.
