Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he was pleased to see his side converting their chances following their 3-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
The Red Devils walked away with all three points through goals by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juan Mata.
Mourinho believed his side controlled the match and was pleased with his side’s ability to convert their chances in the final third.
‘I think we played like we normally play. We played well, we tried to win. Obviously the opponent is difficult but that’s something we are used to. We didn’t have the best start – in the first 15 or 20 minutes,’ Mourinho told the Manchester United website.
‘But then we started to have control, we moved the ball around, we created chances, we scored goals. That’s the only difference – that we arrived at half-time with a 2-0 result. Then we controlled the game and it was quite easy.’
Manchester United will next take on Watford at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 17:00.
