West Ham United have confirmed that French midfielder Dimitri Payet has joined Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille for a fee of £25-million.
The 29-year-old midfielder has been sold to the Ligue 1 side after he stated that he no longer wishes to play for the Hammers.
Marseille have now confirmed that Payet has signed a four-year contract with the club and he will be officially unveiled at a press conference at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus centre, Marseille’s training complex on Monday.
Over the course of his West Ham career, Payet has scored a total of 15 goals from 60 appearances in all competitions for the London side.
