Seven things to expect from this weekend’s Premier League action:
1) Spurs to thump Hull City
Having already been relegated Hull City host an inform Tottenaham Hotspurs this weekend. The Tigers will be looking to contain Spurs and Harry Kane as the North London side look to finish the season strong. Expect Kane to get on the score sheet and Spurs to walk away comfortable winners.
2) Manchester United to play the ‘kids’
Jose Mourinho has made no secret about his plans to play a very young Manchester United side this weekend as they host Crystal Palace. United are preparing for Wednesday nights Europa League final and will be looking to avoid any injury complications. With Palace having secured safety expect a goal feast which could go either way.
3) Liverpool to secure Champions League football
Liverpool host a Middlesbrough team who have already been condemned to life in the Championship. The Reds need three points to secure their spot in the top 4 and expect them to do the business in front of their home fans.
4) City to ease past Watford
With the Hornets having confirmed that manager Walter Mazzarri will not be in charge next season and with Manchester City needing a result to secure Champions League football, there seems to be only one outcome in this clash. Expect the Citizens to ease past Watford in the final game of the season.
5) Chelsea to enjoy final day
It is top vs bottom this weekend as the newly crowned Champions face and already relegated Sunderland at Stamford Bridge. Although Antonio Conte is expected to rest some key players with one eye on their FA Cup final against Arsenal, expect the Blues to enjoy their title celebrations with a final day victory over David Moyes’s men.
6) Sanchez to score for Arsenal
Having hit a rich vein of form over the past few weeks Alexis Sanchez will need to repeat it as his side host Everton this weekend. Arsenal need a victory in the hope that Manchester City or Liverpool slip up, opening the door for the Gunners to finish in the top four. Expect Sanchez to be the main man again and hit the back of the net.
7) Swansea to overcome West Brom
The Swans will be in a good mood this weekend having secured safety for this season. They host a West Brom side which seems to already be on holiday. Expect the Welsh side to overcome their English rivals and enjoy their final day safety celebrations.
