Tottenham Hotspur will return to Wembley for the FA Cup semi-finals after hitting Millwall for six on Sunday afternoon.
The win was marred by Harry Kane leaving the field after suffering a first half injury but it was his replacement, Christian Eriksen, who opened the scoring just after the half hour mark.
Son Heung-Min went to the top of the competition’s scorer’s list with his fourth of the cup in the 41st minute as Spurs went into the break leading comfortable 2-0.
Son did it again in the 54th minute before Dele Alli got into the act in the 72nd. Vincent Janssen scored his first in the white of Tottenham with 10 minutes to play before Son completed his hat-trick in the second minute of injury time.
Millwall were outclassed in every department including shots on goal where they failed to muster a single strike on Michel Vorm’s goal.
